Clients frequently praise the friendly, helpful staff and the low-stress, no-nonsense approach, with many noting the safe handling of their legal needs and specific commendation for lawyer Payla. However, there are serious concerns about the practice owner's poor communication, unreachability, and dismissive attitude, especially in complex matters, leading to delays and unresolved issues. One reviewer described a two-year estate ordeal with missed deadlines and rude treatment, while another mentioned a terrible experience with the firm after a closure. Overall, the firm is seen as good for simple matters but risky for complex ones.

The staff were friendly and helpful. It was easy to find parking.
Unfortunately our last experience was terrible. We had been with the Law Shop for a number of years and initially found them quite good when dealing with practice staff. With more complex issues we were triaged to the practice owner, which is when things went wrong. Unreachable for periods of time; sporadic or non-existent communication; and as a result, issues not finalised when required. When we tried to discuss our concerns we were told by the practice owner that she refused to work with "people who tried to dictate how I run my business." Unbelievable. We no longer use their services and cannot recommend them.
My mother passed away without knowing her law firm in greerton had closed and her will was transferred to another Law shop in Rotorua. I had the worst experience of my life dealing with this law firm. Poor communication and it took almost two years for her estate to be finalized - It shouldn't have taken that long. The lawyer we dealt with at that firm had awful communication and was extremely slow, not sensitive and didn't seem to know what she was doing. Missed deadlines. It took over 5 months for the sale of her home even though there were no complications in regards to selling the home - we had a buyer - it was due to the law shop taking their sweet time and I felt like I was forever chasing the lawyers for communication. The lawyer was also incredibly rude. One minute we needed an IRD number and then we didn't and then we did and so on. It was an extremely difficult process to go through and I wouldn't want anyone else to experience this. It was awful for my whole family and caused everyone a lot of stress. We will never use this law firm again and we highly recommend going somewhere else. I wouldn't want anyone to go through what we did. It was extremely painful and caused a lot of un-needed stress. We have also been told by many others who have dealt with this firm, including other lawyers that this lawyers firm has a reputation for being slow and unorganized.
