Reviews are mixed but limited: one positive response from the firm itself defending against a negative review, and one negative review citing immorality and dishonesty. The firm's response highlights a legal victory against a reviewer who refused to pay, showcasing integrity in advising the client to stay with existing lawyers. The negative review lacks detail but strongly warns against hiring.

Bartlett Law’s response to reviews from Aotearoa and Eve Leniston-Howell (Posted by Andrea Simpson-Keene, Business Manager, Bartlett law) “Aotearoa”’s non-payment of Bartlett Law’s account is the subject of a Disputes Tribunal decision in Bartlett Law’s favour. “Aotearoa” has been ordered to pay the firm $1081.12 by 19 June 2019. As at the time of posting this response, this amount has not been paid. The Disputes Tribunal also said: “I note [name – lawyer at Bartlett Law]’s integrity in advising “Aotearoa” to remain with [his/her] existing lawyers, which I have little doubt saved “Aotearoa” a considerable amount of money. “Aotearoa” may now wish to demonstrate equal integrity, by removing the comments that [he/she] placed on Bartlett Law’s website [actually Google reviews]: those comments are clearly unjustified.” “Aotearoa” has failed to do this. Bartlett Law has not acted for anyone named Eve Leniston-Howell.
Can you give zero stars!? In my opinion this is a firm you should avoid. They have acted in a way that find to me immoral and dishonest. I stand by my review of this firm.
