Unfortunately I am unable to recommend Timpany Walton specifically for property transactions. I hired them to represent me in a property transaction. My 5th one in 5 years and the fees to be charged were over double the average fees for this service. Our most recent previous transaction was 40% of what they intended to charge. This particular transaction happened to be the least complicated I've ever had. We had asked for someone specialized in the property type we were purchasing and were told the lawyer we got was. However, every querie we had was met with call the council, and we were given the wrong department and contact details. There was no specific advice or information given in regards to the property type. The one question I did have and asked to be looked into they forgot to do, and I was forced to go unconditional without all the information. So it wasn't that we were receiving a superior service for the high fees. With the service itself and intial bill and projected total cost to finish the job we lost confidence in the particular lawyer representing us, and we fired them mid transaction between confirmation and settlement. The cost of the new lawyer at another firm was less than half the total projected fees and their service was much more indepth and satisfactory. I understand the other parts of the law firm may be better but we would not feel confident doing a property transaction through Timpany Walton again.
