My wife and I had an incredible experience working with Sarah at TODD & WALKER LAW. My wife and I are two absolute housing rookies, trying to swim upstream in a very challenging and complicated housing market. Sarah was deft in her navigation of mountains of paperwork, able to translate jargon into an understandable parlance and was instrumental in helping us achieve the best outcome.

It was truly a fantastic experience to work with Peter and Tessa on this property deal, It so happened the property was listed over Dec to Jan period which was over the most festive times in New Zealand, as I required the legal services of a firm familiar with Queenstown property and having come across Todd and Walker impressive reviews I reached out to them with regards to reviewing of the LIM report. Despite their offices being closed during the festive period Peter got back to me quickly on my query and with Tessa they both worked on reviewing the property and my numerous queries. All things considering that I was operating outside of NZ, with the time difference over the holiday period everything went much smoother than I expected. Peter & Tessa were very proactive on finding any concerns pertaining to the property and highlighting those (easements, landscaping etc), during this period Peter remain in contact throughout despite time differences. It was also impressive how quickly due diligence was done in areas regarding the property which required some investigation, areas such as utilities connectivity some of which not clearly documented due to the age of the property. You can tell the clients best interests were always looked out for with Peter highlighting the various areas that could be of concern and working them into the contract. Tessa was really on the ball with regards admin and final settlement areas, you know things would be well taken care off and followed up on. With their superb guidance and professionalism it certainly made the whole transaction a truly engaging and fantastic one.
