Well we are supposed to settle tomorrow but I have no idea what is going on because our lawyer won't return our emails or phone calls. Unfortunately this is not a one time situation. Dealing with a lawyer that seems uninterested and unprofessional has been the most stressful part of our home buying process. I suggest avoiding this firm.

Used HTC when sold & bought Anne was great. Was an easy process. Chose them for my current sale was informed I would have Simon..asked for someone else as a friend had daid she had difficulty contacted him. Was ensured he'd be in touch. Haven't heard from him & whenever I ring the receptionist, don't always answer phone, but when I speak to her she is great & says he's not available but will email him to follow up.which she has done several times.He hasn't. My possible buyers lawyer contacted him with her concerns..if he had responded to this or myself & land agent they may have been reassured. However he didn't and she has pulled out of the sale. Now I'm looking for another lawyer but it is difficult at this time of the year with Christmas breaks. And it's costing me money as have to keep paying my mortgage rates etc & lost option on my next property.
