Clients praise Wells & Co for friendly and professional service, with several calling them the best lawyers in Howick and noting they are not money-greedy. However, negative reviews describe being ignored after engagement, with one client reporting fees triple the quoted amount and being ignored when requesting timesheets, and another being unable to get responses until filing a complaint with the Law Society.

Best lawyers in Howick, Auckland. The team at Wells & Co Barristers & Solicitors are very friendly and professional to work with. Recommend to all looking for a great lawyer in East Auckland
I went to this firm based on location and rating. I found out why they have such a great rating. Do helpful and friendly. Not money greedy like many firms I have dealt with before. Fully recommend.
Excellent and friendly lawyers. If you need practical legal advice in any area of law, I recommend you get in contact with Wells & Co Barristers and Solicitors.
I went to this firm as they were local but made the mistake of telling them what the other related party's lawyers were charging them. I got ripped off in terms of the price and when I raised questions and requested timesheet or the job card on the amount of time spent and details, I was completed ignored. What was a standard transfer turned out to a shocking price which was more than triple the amount! I would not recommend Wells and Co. They lost a long term customer for a short term gain.
Was obligated to communicate with them. I say "with" but it was more me asking questions and them ignoring me. Despite leaving voicemails, (coz you can't get past the receptionist) repeatedly emailing and eventually contacting the founding partner, I only got a response when I made a complaint to the NZ Law Society. Absolute dumpster fire situation trying to talk to them. 0/10 would not recommend.
